Fruit & nut bars

These fruit and nut bars with only a few ingredients are easy to make. They are chewy and nutritious.

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup cut date pieces soaked just for 1-2 minutes (they get soft easily) or 1 cup of pitted dates soaked longer
  • ¼ cup peanut butter (or toasted peanuts)
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds
Directions:

Grind the almonds withpeanut butter in a food processor. If using peanut butter, just add it after you grind almonds and continue until smooth. Addsoaked pieces date. Form a dough with your hands and divide into 3-4 portions.Keep them in the fridge.
